Having a Shower with all the Fun

Planning a baby shower takes time and money. When planning, try to keep the same theme so it looks nice. If the nursery has themes to it, take that for the theme for the shower. Keep it simple and not too overdone. Gear your shower for every age, as everyone likes to go to a baby shower.

Plan to get all dishes and utensils to throw away so the cleanup will be easy at the end. When planning the food you can do it a few different ways. You could have a pot luck type of shower when everyone brings something to eat and shares it. You may choose to have it catered, so you don’t have to even cook. Maybe something simple like an ice cream sundae shower. Then there are the outdoor showers with cook outs or pool parties too.

Party favors are the highlight to all showers. When choosing favors make sure they too are fit for all ages. You could have homemade favors or ones you may have to buy.

Games are always fun at a shower. Keep in mind these should be for all ages too. Games can be things like everyone’s brings in a baby picture of themself and everyone must guess who’s that baby? Another great and funny game is a taste testing game. This requires baby food and a bib and baby spoon to do the taste testing game. Diaper derby is a great game to. You will have to change a baby doll’s diaper while talking on a cell phone and this includes undressing and dressing them back up. Oh this one’s a kick!
