Coed Baby Showers are the New Trend

Many husbands, believe it or not, would really enjoy going to a coed baby shower. It can be a fun get together with friends and family everyone celebrating the newest arrival to be. Today men don’t have to be left out. When planning a baby shower why not include men in the next one.

Let’s face it girls, you have been to so many of them you gotta be sick of those same stupid games. Measure the daddy’s belly for a change, there are probably some sympathy pounds you can tease him about.  

Men are just as excited about becoming a daddy. Why leave them out? You can macho up the party a bit. A barbecue is a good idea. Men can relate to that and have a very social time. Have a theme party with the right music i.e. reggae or Caribbean (Jimmy Buffet) and the couples can enjoy dancing together. An Oldies or 1960’s Hippie party is another popular one.

You can include them in the baby shower games just give them a twist. When you give the expecting mother gifts you might give expecting dad a diaper changing kit and use it in a relay race. Men are so competitive and they have to learn to change a diaper sometime. You don’t have to have baby shower games at all.  Food, fun, family and gifts (make sure the couple opens them together) will fill the time, the guys will feel included and enjoy all the excitement of the upcoming event.
